CalvertHealth Promotes Kasia Sweeney to Senior Vice President of Strategy & Transformation

CalvertHealth has announced the promotion of Kasia Sweeney to Senior Vice President of Strategy & Transformation. In this expanded role, Sweeney will lead the organization’s strategic planning, employed medical group, transformation initiatives and government relations efforts.

Sweeney has been with CalvertHealth for more than 25 years, serving in a variety of leadership positions across the organization. Her experience and institutional knowledge position her to strengthen relationships with legislators, policymakers and other stakeholders, ensuring CalvertHealth has a strong and effective voice in the policy arena.

Sweeney began her career at CalvertHealth more than two decades ago and has held leadership positions in public relations, physician relations, strategy and business development. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University, is a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives, and is completing a doctorate in health policy at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In her new role, she will focus on executing the organization’s strategic plan, leading transformation initiatives and strengthening advocacy at the local, state and federal levels. This promotion reflects CalvertHealth’s ongoing commitment to investing in leadership that supports its mission and vision in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
